Account Deletion
Delete from Settings or request help without reinstalling the app.
Delete in the product
Sign in, open Settings → Deactivation, and follow the permanent deletion flow. The screen distinguishes temporary deactivation from deletion and asks you to confirm the destructive choice.
Request deletion
If you cannot sign in, email privacy@soberplusone.com from the account address with the subject “Delete my account.” We may request proportionate verification to prevent someone else from deleting your account.
What is deleted
We remove the dating profile from discovery, revoke sessions, and delete or de-identify account data from active systems. Some records may remain temporarily in rotating backups or longer where needed for security, reports, chargebacks, legal obligations, or another person’s rights. Public Community discussions may retain de-identified contributions.
Subscriptions
Delete or canceling an account does not automatically cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google. Cancel that subscription in the relevant store settings to prevent renewal.
